Betty Whaley

Betty Anne Whaley, 72, of Concord, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.

Betty was born June 19, 1942 in Mannington, WV, to the late Doyle Brown and the late Merle Anna Hudson Brown.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm-3:00pm, Sunday, May 17, 2015 Myers Funeral Home in Sistersville, WV. The funeral service will follow at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel and will be officiated by Pastor William "Bill" Williamson. Burial will follow at the Paden City Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include husband, Thomas "Pete" Whaley of Concord; two daughters, Diana (Dave) Palmer of Sistersville WV, and Melissa (Jason) Linker of Concord; brother, Ralph (Fanny) Brown of Mesa, AZ; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Mt. Herman Cemetery Fund, c/o Lorna Phillips, Treasurer, PO Box 12, Hundred, WV 26575.
