Betty Womack

Betty Marie Claxon Womack, 88, of Concord, NC passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022.

Betty was born April 10, 1934 in Hopewell, KY to the late Joseph Richard Claxon and the late Ida Dee Martin Claxon.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edwin J. Womack; sister, Virginia Smith; brother, Kenneth Claxon; sister, Annabelle Craycraft; sister, Louise Coalgrove; sister, Katherine Ison; brother, Thomas Claxon.

Survivors include sister, Rose Goins; son, Silas Edwin Womack and wife Kathy of Concord, NC; son, Richard Lynn Womack and wife Karen of Charlotte, NC; son, Gregory Keith Womack, Sr. and Susan Tracey of Grayson, KY; grandchildren, Natalie Morgan, Ashlyn Lambert, Keith Womack; great grandchildren, Joseph, Camryn, Coltyn, Waylon, Allisyn, Wyatt, Benjamin and Ethan.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on, Friday May 6th, at Sparks Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Saturday,  May 7th at 11:00 AM, officiated by Rev. Tom Riffe. Burial service to follow at Bradford Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Coltrane Life Center in Concord, NC.
