Betty E. Bridges

Betty E. Burgess Bridges, 80, of Concord, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Mrs. Bridges was born June 15, 1940 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina to the late Joseph Russell Burgess and the late Helen Elizabeth Wilkerson Burgess.
She was also preceded in death by her five brothers,  Reece, William, Sonny, Babe and Joe Robert.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. The memorial service will follow at 5:00 pm in the chapel. Burial will be at a later date in the West Concord Cemetery at 331 Union Cemetery Rd SW, Concord.

Survivors include daughter, Brenda  Mauldin of Concord, NC, daughter, Vickie "Rayna" Porter of Concord, NC, son, Ricky Lynn Walters, daughter, Shirley Ann Farmer. Also surviving are two sisters, Barbara Davis and Mary Burgess; one brother, Jerry Burgess; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
