Beverly Carpenter

Beverly Sheppard Carpenter, 67, of Concord, NC went home to be with the Lord in heaven on Friday, February 5, 2021 after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Beverly was born December 29, 1953 in McKees Rock, PA to the late George Nural Sheppard.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Brand Carpenter of Concord, NC; daughter, Melissa Nguyen; son, Scottie Carpenter and wife Daniela; grandchildren, Ethan Nguyen, Braydon Nguyen, Maddox Nguyen, Ariana Nguyen, and Katalina Carpenter; sister, Barbara Thompson; and brother, George Sheppard.

Beverly was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved her family and especially her grandchildren dearly.  She was a member of Roberta Baptist Church for many years. Beverly was a pre-school teacher of four year olds for 20 years, and a full-time homemaker, wife and mother.  Beverly will be truly missed by all those who knew her and loved her.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Monday, February 8, 2021 at Roberta Baptist Church in Concord. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Steve Pennington.  Burial will take place at the Carolina Memorial Park in Harrisburg.
