Beverly Smith

Beverly Jane Smith, 76, of New London, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Beverly was born July 3, 1943 in Cabarrus County to the late Ruth Rogers. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by husband, Edward Michael "Mike" Smith and son Buddy Cline.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 6 - 8 PM, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle.

Beverly loved traveling to the mountains, playing Bingo, watching football and spending time with family and friends. She was also an avid Washington Redskins fan. Beverly was always the life of the party and loved good company. She always knew how to keep you laughing and smiling.

Survivors include daughter-in-law, Angela Cline of Troy, NC; nephews, Rodney Smith & wife Robin of Kannapolis, NC, Steven Rogers of Albemarle, NC; niece, Jennifer Smith of Mt. Pleasant, NC; brothers, Tony Rogers of New London, NC, Richard Rogers of Southport, FL; grandchildren, Dalton Cline, Alyssa Cline, Kaci Morton and her beloved dog Willis.
