She fought a painful, courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. Beverly always wanted to stay at home and her wish was granted because she passed away at her residence in Hudson, NC surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 18, 1965 in Union County, she was the daughter of Betty Curlee Morgan and the Late Gary I. Morgan. Beverly was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church and a graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School. She was previously employed at IFH in Hickory in the accounting dept. and with Keller Williams Realty as a Real Estate Broker. Beverly was a positive, happy person who loved to make people smile and laugh. She was a people person who never met a stranger and had many friends and family and loved them all. She loved spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, traveling, sports and her dog, Rascal. She is survived by her mother, Betty Curlee Morgan; sister, Lesa Morgan Kluttz; two nephews, Jake and Dillon Kluttz; paternal grandfather, Irvin C. Morgan; many aunts, uncles and a host of cousins. She shared a bond with her Uncle Tommy Curlee and his wife, Sandy who stood by her, did everything they could for her and were with her when she passed away. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Reverend Darrell Coble, will be held in the Hartsell Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. the family would especially like to thank the Hospice Care Team of Caldwell County for their loving, compassionate care shown to Beverly.
