Beverly Reynolds

Beverly Ruth Reynolds, 74, of Kannapolis, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018.

Beverly was born September 1, 1944 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Alvan Lewis Hall and the late Ruth Alice Dibble Hall.  She was also preceded in death by husband, Louie Reynolds, and brother, LTJG Carlton Hall.

Beverly was raised in Smyrna, GA.  She went to college at St. Andrews, Laurinburg, NC.  After college, she moved to Virginia Beach, where she met Louie.  They married February 17, 1968 and moved to Griffin, GA.  Beverly started her teaching career at Henderson Middle School, Jackson, GA.  She taught there for 15 years.  When Louie retired in 2002, they moved to Blue Ridge, GA and she taught at Gilmer County Middle School for 3 years, before her retirement.  She and Louie loved being outdoors, especially whitewater canoeing with the TSRA.  They enjoyed working at the 1996 Olympic canoeing and kayaking events.  Later in life, she discovered her love for dancing and enjoyed dancing with friends at the Cabarrus County Senior Center.

Survivors include daughter, Sheri Reynolds of Kannapolis, NC; son, Todd Reynolds of Griffin, GA; sister, Barbara Cook of Columbus, GA; sisters-in-law, Peggy Allen of Weems, VA, Margaret Reynolds of Mableton, GA, Libby Reynolds of Ashburn, GA and Sheila Reynolds of Alcoa, TN; brother-in-law, Bob Reynolds and wife, Prudence, of Bandera, TX; nieces, Laura Hall, Stephanie Melchor, Cristina Reynolds, Joann Weinberg, Olivia Parker, and Tracee Pickle; nephews, Jim Cook, Greg Laney, Brian Laney, and Chris Reynolds.
