Billy Furr

Billy Ray Furr, 82, of Concord, NC passed away peacefully Saturday, March 24, 2018.

He loved to sing and was in the choir and gospel quartet at his church for many years.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Furr was preceded in death only five short weeks ago by his wife of 62 years, Mildred Furr; and brothers, Herman and Larry Furr.

Survivors include son, Ray Furr (Kellie), daughter, Dawn Black (Howard), granddaughter, Amanda Phillips (Brandon), grandson, Adam Furr, grandson, Howie Black, granddaughter, Samantha Black, great-granddaughter, Emersyn Phillips.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am -12:00pm ,Thursday March 29, 2018 ,at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord . The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 12:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis.
