Billy Miles

Billy Luther Miles, age 89 of 930 N.6th Street, Albemarle, NC, formerly of Zephyrhills, FL and Shady Spring, WV, passed away on May 25, 2011 at WG Bill Hefner VA Medical Center, Hospice Unit in Salisbury, NC. The family will receive friends at Daniels Bible Church in Daniels, WV on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 2pm. The funeral service will be in the church at 3pm, officiated by Rev. Don Pfleger. The burial will take place in Blue Ridge Memorial Garden Cemetery, Beckley, WV. Mr. Miles was born in Grandview, WV, on August 31, 1921 to the late James William Miles and Dora Carper Miles. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Jean Lilly Miles; second wife, Virginia Miles; 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Mr. Miles is survived by his son, James E. Miles and wife Rexanne of Graham, NC; daughter, Sharon Hazlett and husband Dan of Albemarle; 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Mr. Miles was a member of Daniels Bible Church in Daniels, WV and he proudly served his country in the US Navy. Memorials may be made to your local Hospice or to The Pregnancy Resource Center, 124 E.
