Billy Plott

Billy Ray Plott, 82 years of age, of Charlotte, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at home in Charlotte.

He was born May 24, 1931 in North Carolina to the late Roy Lee Plott and the late Johnnie Lee Plott .

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 11th at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord, NC from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. A memorial service follow at 4:00 in the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Howell of Myers Park Methodist Church in Charlotte. Masonic Rites will be conducted by Newell Lodge 739.

Billy was a veteran of the US Army, a past Master of Newell #739 Masonic Lodge in Charlotte, NC, and a member of University Methodist Church in Charlotte.

Survivors include wife, Peggie Marie Plott of Charlotte, NC; son, Sherrill Darwin (Vicki) Plott of Concord, NC; daughter, Judy Plott Witherspoon of Concord, NC; grandchildren, Corey Plott, Lindsey Echerd, and Cassie Witherspoon; great-grandchildren, Colton Echerd, Knox Echerd, Blake Witherspoon (great-granchild) Noah Raynor; nieces, Patricia Bigham, Ann Payne, and Debbie Plott.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Plott family.
