Blanche Carroll Hartsell, 86 years of age, of Kannapolis, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Five Oaks Manor in Concord.
Blanche was born December 5, 1929 in North Carolina to the late Joe Carroll and Fannie Sherrill Carroll. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Hartsell; her daughter, Bonnie Greene; her brother Buck Carroll.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, March 7, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be Tuesday, March at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Robert Earnhardt. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Cornelius.
Survivors include her son, Arnold Drye and wife Sara of Concord; her daughters, Rhonda Pigg and husband, Darrell of Kannapolis and Jamie Caudill of Kannapolis; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
Blanche retired from Cannon Mills.
