Bobbie Ann Furr was born into this life and world on November 24, 1940. She lovingly walked into the arms of Jesus Christ at 11:05 pm on February 5, 2024 in the intensive care unit at Mint Hill Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Bobbie Ann was born and raised in Monroe, Union County, to the late Oscar and Ellie Price Cook. Her siblings whom are now with her in her eternal home are Eloise, Donald, Ray, Carolyn, and Joyce.
Those left behind to cherish her memory is her devoted daughter of the home, Miss Wendy Denise Furr, whom loved, adored, and cherished her mother more than life itself; her sisters, Sadie Cook and Betty Jean King, both of Pruitt Healthcare Union Point. Other family members left behind to cherish her blessed memory is her second daughter, Tammy Renee Pressley and Mike of Peachland; and nephews, Randy and Lynn Pressley of Hendersonville.
Ann loved her beautiful flowers especially pansies. She loved taking a long walk along the Carolina Beach Coast with her husband and daughter, she loved her Sun-Drops, and apple figurines.
On the 23rd day of October 1976 she would meet the man she would spend 40+ years of holy matrimony marriage, J. D. Furr. J. D. loved and adored his Darlee more than life itself. Ann loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with everything she was. She would often ask her daughter if Jesus can walk on water why can't I walk on earth. Baby, you will walk again I can promise you that. Revelations 21 said I saw a new heaven and a new earth. God shall wipe every tear from their eyes, there will be no more death, or mourning or crying for the old order of things have passed away. While now she left her daughter Wendy's loving arms, she's now at peace resting inside her husband, J. D.'s loving arms for eternity and beyond.

I want to thank two special caring ladies my momma thought of as her own girls and daughters, Miss Shelly McGarity of Midland and Connie Killapatrick of Stanfield. The other ladies she thought of as her daughters are Katie Tyree and Danielle Sisk of Midland. She thought of Jeanie Harkey and Vickie Smith as her sisters.
