Bobbie Clontz
February 14, 1940 — July 20, 2017
Bobbie Jewel Clontz, 77 years of age, of Stanfield, NC went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 20, 2017.
Bobbie was born February 14, 1940 in Stanly County, NC to the late Poney Wilson Yow and the late Emmer Grace Petrea Yow.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 and a half years, Don Wayne Clontz; her brother R.J. Yow; brother Don Privette; sister Lorine Aldridge; sister Pauline Kiker Russell; and her granddaughter Lizzie Clontz.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherrie Treece; son, Jeffery Wayne Clontz and wife Tammy; two grandsons, Matthew and Zachery Clontz; brother Louis Yow and wife Linda; and her sister Vida Williams.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church, 4311 Love Mill Road, Stanfield, NC. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm officiated by Rev. Dr. Darrell Nance. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kinza Memorial Baptist Church. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Clontz family.
