Bobbie Sue was born and lived her entire life in Midland, with a huge family base. Although she birthed only eight children, she influenced countless others during her career at Bethel School as a teacher assistant for kindergarten, bus driver, and while teaching Sunday School for preschoolers for many years. Many called her Maw Maw. She was kind and caring. She instilled in her children, good moral values, a religious upbringing, a great work ethic, kindness, humility and caring for others. She was always a nurturer, preparing great, healthy meals (fresh from the garden) and was the first to be at your home with food at the news of sickness or family loss. She loved her church and was a member of First Baptist Church of Midland most of her life and in recent years Howell’s Baptist Church.
