Bobby Cain

Bobby Ronald Cain, 70 of 108 Kings Drive, Locust, NC passed away on September 6, 2011 at his home. The family will receive friends at Berea Baptist Church, Stanfield, on Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 6 to 8. Funeral services will be held at Berea Baptist Church on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 4 pm with a 30 minute state. Pastor Brad Phifer will officiate the service and the burial will be in the church cemetery. At other times the family will be receiving friends at his home. Born in Bladen County, NC on January 12, 1941, he was the son of the late Mack Cain and the late Annie Ruth Hall Cain. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Kaye Frances Odom Cain of the home; daughters, Debra Cain of Monroe and Tabitha Robinson of Concord; grandchildren, Charles Jonathan Walters of Monroe, Christina Lynn Walters of Monroe and Cameron Jacob Robinson of Harrisburg; brothers, Jerry Cain of Concord and Ray Cain of Harrisburg. He was a truck driver for Consolidated Freight in Charlotte for 30 years with over a million safe driving miles. He was ordained as a minister by Lee Roberson in 1974 at Tennessee Temple University, and also served as a deacon at Berea Baptist Church, Stanfield. Online condolences at www.hartsellfh.com
