Bobby Efird

Bobby C. Efird, 73, of Oakboro, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 due to Covid complications at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

He was born December 28, 1947 to the late Robert Ross Efird and the late Lamer Josephine Efird.  He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Roy and Reggie Efird; and sister, Brenda Hinson.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 3:00 pm - 3:45 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service to celebrate his life will follow at 4:00 pm in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Mike Dunn.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years,  Frances L. Efird of the home; their son, Robert Ryan (Jennifer) Efird of Clayton, AL; grandchildren, Bryson and Maddy Efird of Mount Pleasant; fur baby, Otis; brothers, Ross (Peggy) Efird, Mike Efird, both of Locust; and sister, Carolyn (Alan) Little of Oakboro.
