Bobby Fisher

Bobby Ray Fisher, age 84, passed away at St. Andrews Assisted Living Center on Tuesday, May 31, 2016.
Born December 26, 1931, he was the son of Edward Ray Fisher and Myrtle Herrin Fisher. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Fisher Curlee.
Bob attended Harrisburg School and served in the Korean conflict. He was employed by the City of Concord Fire Department for 31 years, retiring in 1991 as Assistant Chief. He was of Baptist Faith and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Anne B. Fisher; daughter, Betsy Fisher (Tom) Smith; son, Bobby Dean (Nikki) Fisher; three granddaughters, Sydney, Morgan and Kendal Fisher.
The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Branchview Dr., Concord, Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Carolina Memorial Park on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 3:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Rodney Quesenberry, with burial following.
