Bobby Furr

Bobby Jackson Furr, 71, of Concord passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Universal Helathcare in Concord. Born on July 6, 1939 in Stanly County to the late Albert Arthur and Ida Belle Brooks Furr. Also preceded in death by his wife Linda Bost Furr, and numerous brothers and sisters. Mr. Furr was a fixer for Specialty Dyers in Landis. He attended Friendship Southern Baptist Church. The family meeting place will be at the home of his brother at 669 Main Street Concord. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 from 1 until 2 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the chapel, with the Rev. Mike Mullis officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Survived by: brother, Albert Furr of Concord; sisters, Emma Gulledge of Kannapolis, Bessie Smith of Oakboro, and Eloise Dawson of Concord.
