Bobby Hargett

Bobby Ray Hargett, 50 years of age from Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center – NorthEast of Concord. Mr. Hargett was born July 24, 1961 in Union County to Donald Reid Hargett of Charlotte and the late Doris Helms Hargett who passed away in 2009. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jamie Overcash. He worked as a plumber for Love Plumbing of Monroe. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 6, at the Norwood Camping Resort, 1216 Berryhill Drive in Norwood. At other times, the family will meet at his home. Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Sonji Annette Belk Hargett of the home; his son, Robbie Overcash of Monroe; his grandsons, Quinton Outen and Dallas Graham of the home; his daughters, Christy Hargett of Monroe and Misty Billotto of Florida; eleven grandchildren; his brother, Gary Hargett of Monroe and his sister, Brenda Barr of Charlotte. Memorials may be made to the family at Sonji Hargett, 16354 Big Bear Road, Albemarle, NC 28001. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Hargett family.
