Bobby Key

Bobby Gray Key, 79 years of age, of New London, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at his home.

Mr.Key was born June 25, 1937 to the late Gaither Key and Violet Sells Mason. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home-Albemarle. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Faith Freewill Baptist Church in New London, officiated by Rev. Cecil Tucker and Rev. Andrew Ball. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include: wife, Jeanette Key; daughter, Misti Key, step-daughter, Judy Hatley; sister, Jean McCormick; grandchildren, Awtum Shue, Kayleigh Shue, Sarah Lopez, Nigel Wyatt, Christian Colvin; and great-grandchild, Stephanie Lopez.
