Bobby Lambert

Bobby Frank Lambert, 76 years of age, of Locust, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Lambert was born August 5, 1937 in Watauga County to the late George Stancil Lambert and Elma Sue Lambert .
The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 13, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Locust. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Dr. Tommy Ross, Rev. Dr. Kinney Wallace and Rev. Ron Honeycutt. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Barbara Ann Lambert of Locust; daughters, Tamara Pope and husband, Tony, of Locust and Corletta Barbee and husband, Cardell, of Stanfield; son, Sidney Lambert and wife, Kim, of Locust; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Linda Griffin of Concord, Shirley Furr of AZ, and Sylvia Love of Locust.
His family was the center of his life. He enjoyed birds and had an inate talent for building and fixing things.
