Bobby Wayne Love, 71, of Concord, passed away on July 18, 2012 at his home after battling Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s for 22 years. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Friday, July 20, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. with the Reverends Gary Bragg and Gary Posey officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. At other times the family will meet at the home. Bobby was born on April 29, 1941 in Mecklenburg County, to the late Clyde Love and Pearl McDonald Love. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Mynor, Homer and Billy Love. Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 50 years, Myrtle Shue Love; daughter, Shelia Love Harper and husband, Jim of Concord; grandson, Matthew Dowell; granddaughter, Victoria Harper; brothers, Gerald, Clyde Jr., Webster and Troy Love all of Concord and David Love of Davidson. Bobby was president and part owner of Love Auto Sales, Inc. of Kannapolis where he was a #1 car salesman for many years. He “wheeled and dealed†until the day Jesus came by and gave him a ride home. He faithfully attended Mt. Pleasant Church of God and enjoyed supporting and attending his grandchildren’s sports. The family would like to extend thanks to Dr. Russ Bodner and Dr. Harrison Rhee for many years of great service and thanks to the Rowan Hospice nurses and aids for their great help and support through this time.
