Bobby Lucas

Bobby Lee Lucas Sr., 81 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014. Mr. Lucas was born October 20, 1932 in Albemarle, NC to the late Pearlie Lee Lucas and the late Flonnie Coley Lucas . He was also preceded in death by first wife, Edith Colleen Lucas. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home - Midland. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral chapel and will be officiated by Rev. Clint Lewey. Burial will follow at the Locust Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Survivors include wife, Clara "Cookie" Elizabeth Lucas of Stanfield; son, Dr. Jack (Barbara) Lucas of Charlotte; daughter, Pamela Pace of Charlotte; daughter, Susan (Mike) Moore of Rutherfordton, NC; son, Bobby Lucas Jr. of Stanfield; step-daughter, Elizabeth Brown of Winston-Salem; step-son, Rev. Joe (Amy) Brown of Garner, NC; sixteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Ronnie Joe Lucas of Stanfield; one niece Lisa (Tim) Frick of Oakboro; and one nephew Greg (Wendy) Lucas of Stanfield.
