Bobby Sossamon

Mr. Bobby Louis Sossamon, 79, of 1684 Hess Road, Concord, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at his home. He was born on July 11, 1931 in Cabarrus County to the late Roy Louis Sossamon and the late Lula Iola McDonald Sossamon. He was a self employed painter. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 598 Hwy 49 South, Concord at 11:00 am. A visitation will follow the service at Kingdom Hall. At other times, family and friends are welcome at the home between 4:00 and 8:00 pm. He is survived by wife, Violet Jean Hess Sossamon, of the home; sons, Billy and Bobby Sossamon, both of Concord; brother, Charles Sossamon, of Concord; three grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. At the request of the family, please have all flowers delivered to the home address. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Sossamon family.
