Bobby Morris

Bobby Vaco Morris, 94, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 at his home.

Bobby was born November 19, 1926 in North Carolina to the late John Vaco Morris and the late Annie Hahn Morris.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Curtis and Lendell Morris, and his sister, Jettie Hathcock.

Survivors include wife, Sarah Cranford Morris of Albemarle, NC, daughters, Gina Morris Watlington and husband Jimmy, of Yanceyville, NC, Wendy Morris Holbrook and husband Cavin, of Albemarle, NC, and Mitzi Morris Helms and husband Darin, of Matthews, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren; Ginger Stokes (Jeff), William Watlington (Jamey), Hunter Holbrook, Caroline Holbrook, Cameron Helms, and Allison Helms, and great-grandchildren, Hailey Stokes, Beckett Watlington, and Charlie Watlington.

A memorial service for the Morris family will be held at a later date.

Bobby was owner and operator of Morris Supermarket with his wife, Sarah, for 25 years and was a lifelong member of First Lutheran Church of Albemarle.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church of Albemarle or Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharrie.
