Bonnie Girolamo

Bonnie Rae Girolamo, 75, of Albemarle, affectionately known by her husband as Twinkie, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at her home.

Bonnie was born July 26, 1946 in New York to the late Frank Shultz and the late Inez Maxine Richard. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Anthony Girolamo, Jr..

Survivors include daughter, Christine Borga Montez, and Antoinette Girolamo; sons, Joseph Borga, Jimmy Borga and Anthony Girolamo, III; 20 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Bonnie was a special woman who devoted her time to helping others. She worked as a phlebotomist, a bus driver for New London and a volunteer fire-fighter for Badin.
