Bonnie Greene

Bonnie Baucom Greene, 74, of Monroe, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Atrium Health Union in Monroe.

Mrs.Greene was born May 30, 1947 in Union County, North Carolina to the late John Key Baucom and the late Lena Mae Baucom.
She was also preceded in death by her loving son, Kevin Greene; sister, Patricia Deese; brothers, Arlie Baucom, Kenneth Baucom, Buren Baucom, and Hubert Baucom

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Antioch Baptist Church. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 2:00 pm at Antioch Baptist Church in Monroe officiated by Rev. Joe Query. Burial will follow at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery at 6223 Love Mill Rd., Monroe.

Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Mitchell Greene of Monroe, NC; daughter, Lisa (Steve) Poulos of Monroe, NC; son, Alan Greene of Monroe, NC; grandchildren, Ryan Poulos, Dylan (Bryanna) Greene; sister, Belinda Deese and lots of loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was a kind-hearted, loving wife and mother.  She took care of her family and remained their constant supporter. She was an amazing seamstress, crafter, decorator and could create to make anything beautiful.  She loved her husband,  children,  family and her two grandchildren, Dylan and Ryan.  Her faith was very important to her and in her Father's arms is where she remains.
