Bonnie Hopkins

Bonnie Diane Hutchinson Hopkins, 68, of Albemarle, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, fro 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. The funeral service will be on Thursday, January 31, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Chapel. Rev. Ron Honeycutt will officiate. Burial will follow at Stanly Gardens. At other times, the family will meet at her home. Mrs. Hopkins was born on September 16, 1944, to the late Charles Edmond Hutchinson and the late Nellie Hutchinson. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Spivey. Bonnie is survived by two sons, Ronald Alvin Hopkins of Albemarle and Travis Scott Hopkins of the home; three brothers, David Hutchinson of South Carolina, Jack Hutchinson of Norwood and Lewis Hutchinson of Albemarle; two sisters, Janelle McSwain of Albemarle and Margaret Gudger of Albemarle; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
