Bonnie Popp

Bonnie Ellen Popp, 58, of Charlotte, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte.

Bonnie was born April 24, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York to Marilyn Butow and the late Herman Butow.
She was also preceded in death by her favorite uncle, Martin Kutikoff.

After the service the family is hosting a dinner reception. We invite all of our family and friends to come eat, drink and remember.

Survivors include husband, John Popp of Charlotte, NC, mother, Marilyn Butow of New York, children, Jessica (Devin) McManus and Vincent Popp, grandchildren, Liam McManus and Raelyn McManus, and sisters, Stacy Fasano and Danielle Barros.

Bonnie fought her health for over a decade, defying all odds and embodied with strength, bravery and resilience even up until her last moments. Throughout all this time  she maintained a positive attitude and always showed more concern for those around her and her family than for herself.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Crossway Community Church in Huntersville, officiated by JJ Pyche.
