Boody Loving

Boody Stapp Loving, 76 years of age, of Midland, went to be with his Lord on Friday, July 4, 2014 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Mr. Loving was born November 6, 1937 in Albemarle to the late Charles Edgar Loving and the late Doris Stapp Loving. He was also preceded in death by brother, Charlie Loving.

He graduated from Bethel High School in 1956, he served in the United States Air Force from 1956 - 1960. He retired from Moss Supply Company in Charlotte in 2001.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Monday at 11:00 am at the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Midland officiated by Rev. Lewis Whittington and Rev. Gary Wyrick. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park at 5400 Monroe Road, Charlotte. Military graveside rites will be presented by the Veterans Council of Union County.

Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years, Diana, of the home; sons, Robert "Bob" Loving (Cheryl) and Barry Loving (Missy), all of Midland; daughter, Beverly Byrd (Chris) of Stem, NC; brother, Larry Loving (Janet); sister, Lucy Alice Jarvis; five grandchildren; five great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.
