Boyce Baucom

Boyce Alexander Baucom, 58 years of age, of Albemarle passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 in Carolinas Medical Center – Main of Charlotte. Mr. Baucom was born February 23, 1954 in Stanly County to Glennie B Kiker Baucom and the late Roy Lee Baucom. He was a former supervisor for the City of Albemarle Street Department for 30 years. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Monday, May 21 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Victor Rakowski. Burial will follow at the Centerview Baptist Church Cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at the home of his mother at 1704 Almond Street, Albemarle. Survivors include his mother, Glennie; his daughter, Lori Ann Baucom of Albemarle; his grandchildren, Harley, Makala, Casey, and Winter; his brother, Johnny L. Baucom of Kannapolis; and his sister, Mildred B. Smith of Albemarle. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 222 S. Church Street, #303, Charlotte, NC 28202 .
