Boyce Grey

Boyce Burdette Grey of Locust, N.C., died Friday, July 24, 2009, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, N.C. Grey was employed by General Electric Carboloy Division in sales and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Locust Lions Club, 260 Eastern Star, AM & FM Masonic Lodge 618 - Midland. The family meeting place is at his home 14158 Elm Street, Locust, NC.. . He was the son of the late Dexter Grey and the late Dora (Black) Grey. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Gail (Love) Grey; One Daughter, Linda Furr (Grey) & husband Larry of Midland One Sister, Elizabeth Barbee of Locust and grandchildren Allen Furr, Scott Furr and wife Malena, Craig Furr, Mitzi Sykes and Danille Tyree. He also had nine great-grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by his first wife Blanche Ferguson Grey, son Danny Grey, daughter Lynn (Grey) Simpson, brother Gerald Grey and sister Gladys Sullivan. Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home - Midland, PO Box 100, Midland, N.C., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, July 25, 2009. Funeral service will be at Bethel United Methodist Church at 4:00 PM Sunday, July 26, 2009 , Rev. Mark Clontz and Neil Crowell officiating. Interment will be at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Midland, N.C.
