Brandon "Buddy" Alexander Freeman, 89 years of age, of Concord, NC passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016.
Buddy was born May 24, 1927 in Midland, NC to the late Willie Brandon Freeman and the late Helen Joyner Freeman.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers Melvin and Archie Freeman; and his grandson Brandon Simmons.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Evelyn Linker Freeman; son Will "Butch" Freeman; son Bill Freeman; daughter Linda Freeman Porfeli; son Johnny Freeman; son Robert Freeman; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; sister Helen Jones; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Buddy proudly served in the United States Navy in World War II.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by Rev. Tim Newton. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis with full military honors.
