Brenda Blake

Brenda Kay Barbee Blake, 70 years of age, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Brenda was born on December 8, 1944 to the late H.M. Barbee and the late Grace Eudy Barbee. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Newell Barbee and wife Frances Barbee; brother, Robert Loyd Barbee and wife Betty Pope Barbee; as well as her brother in law, Donald Mullis. She is survived by her sister, Doris Mullis, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church her entire life. Brenda enjoyed putting puzzles together, and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loving family.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Thursday, August 27, 2015, at Oak Ridge Baptist Church, 5340 Flowes Store Road, Concord, NC 28025. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm at Oak Ridge Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Rob Eller and Rev. Jimmy Hall. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
