On Sunday, April 3rd Brenda Kay Brindle “Nina” of Midland, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with Congestive Heart Failure at the age of 79.
Kay was born in Concord, North Carolina, on February 17th, 1943, to Agnes and John White. She was the eldest daughter, followed by Kenneth “Ken” White, Harriet Sanders, and Jeffery “Jeff” White.
Kay raised three sons together John Kevin, Mark Jackson, and Barry Dean Brindle. She worked at Allstate for 40 years before she pursued general contracting. She made many friendships throughout her life, many of which lasted until her passing. Kay enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Additionally, she loved going to the beach, whether with friends or family; her time there was the happiest. She also enjoyed designing houses both inside and out. Kay touched many lives and held a special place in the heart of everyone she met. While she is gone, she will never be forgotten for the laughter, kindness, generosity, and love that she gave others.
Kay Brindle will be cremated, and her ashes given to her loved ones, along with being sprinkled at her favorite place, the beach. Her visitation and funeral service are planned at Hartsell Funeral Home (13575 Broadway Ave., Midland, NC, 28107) on Saturday, April 9th at 1:00 pm. The service will be webcast for those who are unable to attend http://video.ibm.com/channel/hartsell-funeral-home-midland-nc1
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, think of her, carry out acts of kindness towards others, and keep her and her family in your prayers.
