Brenda Carter

Brenda "Bunny" Carter, 74 years of age, of New London, passed away Friday, July 3, 2015, at Stanly Manor in Albemarle, after a long illness.

Brenda was born August 7, 1940 in York County, SC.

The Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle, officiated by Thomas Mauldin.

Survivors include husband, James H. (Jim) Carter of New London; sons, James Scott Carter of Charlotte and William Brian Carter of New London; granddaughter, Brianna Jane Carter; adopted granddaughter, Jennie Coffel of Concord; very special friend, Mike Frick; brother, Ned Richard West; sister, Regina Moore; and the family pet, Miley.

Bunny had a special gift for plants and everything outdoors. She loved crafts and creating decor for her home.
