Brenda Furr

Brenda Joyce Blackwelder Furr, age 70, of 1019 Dogwood Park Concord passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. She was born on September 7, 1940 in Cabarrus County to the late Robert Luther and Rachel Brown Easley Blackwelder. Brenda was married to J.W. Furr. She attended Highland Baptist Church. The family meeting place will be at her home at 1019 Dogwood Park Concord, NC 28027. The family will receive friends at her home on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Highland Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 5 PM, Rev. James Mullis and Rev. Buck Canup and Rev. Leonard Aycock will officiate. Burial will follow at Harmony Baptist Church in Harrisburg. She is survived by: daughters, Teresa Ramirez of Concord, Regina Benfield of Concord, Annette Strickland of Harrisburg, and Colleen Furr of Concord; brother, Ronnie Blackwelder of Charlotte; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
