Brenda Harkey

Brenda Jane Harkey, 68, of Mount Gilead, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021.

Jane was born May 19, 1952 in South Carolina to the late Eugene Workman Hill and the late Margaret Leathers Hill.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Jason Amick.

Services for the Harkey family will be held at a later time.

Survivors include husband, Tommy Wayne Harkey of Mount Gilead, NC; sons, Joshua Caine Amick and Matthew Jacob (Felicia) Amick, Michael Shane (Manda) Harkey; grandchildren, Dale (Lynnsey) Chandler, Gavin Amick, Jack Harkey, Abby Amick, Ava Amick, Aubrey Amick, Molly Harkey, and Samantha Chandler Shepherd (Travis); great-grandchildren, Della Chandler and Jensen Chandler; and brother, Joe (Midge) Hill.

Jane was deeply religious and loved God. She had a wonderful bubbly personality- she loved people and people loved her.
