Brenda "June" Allman

Brenda June Allman, 59, of Concord, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021.

June was born March 1, 1962 in Concord to Alfred Long and the late Brenda Kiser Long.  In addition to her mother, June was also preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Christenbury.

June graduated Central Cabarrus High School.  She worked at Saddle Creek Logistics Services in Harrisburg.  She loved the outdoors, gardening and going to the beach.  June loved rescuing cats and enjoyed volunteering at Second Chance Kitten Rescue.  She had a big heart and was a sweetheart.  Most of all, June was a loving wife, mother and daughter.  She will be dearly missed and forever loved.

Survivors include husband of 40 years, Roger Allman of Concord; daughter, Jennifer (William) Dewyea of Concord; father, Alfred Long of Harrisburg; parents-in-law, Cecil and Violet Allman; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, April 26, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg.  The funeral service will be on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Rev. Robert Lee Garner.  Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park, Harrisburg.
