Brenton Austin

Brenton Christopher Austin, 20 years of age, of Stanfield, was called home to be with The Lord on July 28, 2013 in Montgomery County as a result of a tragic accident. He was born November 9, 1992 in Charlotte to James Michael Austin and Shannon Leigh Troutman. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, James Austin. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be at 4:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home - Midland in Midland officiated by Rev. Earl Bradshaw. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Rd., Charlotte. Survivors include father, James Michael Austin of Mint Hill, NC; mother, Shannon Leigh Troutman of Stanfield, NC; sister, Carly Anne Austin of Stanfield, NC; maternal grandparents, Ken and wife Vickie Jamison of Indian Trail, NC; paternal grandmother, Anne Austin of Mint Hill, NC; paternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Mabel Jamison of Mint Hill; uncle, Joe Jamison of Little River, NC; uncle, Jerrad and wife Tammy Jamison of Oakboro, NC; aunt, Amy and husband Jeff Sehen of Locust, NC; aunt, Beth and husband Nelson Welch of Mint Hill, NC; uncle, Scott and wife Michelle Austin of Indian Trail, NC; aunt, Renee and husband Mark Watson of Mint Hill, NC; cousins, Jordan, Grant (Bubba), Travis, Trey, Brandon, Katie, Christopher, Matthew, Ashley and Mattie; best friends, Cameron Barbee, Kelsey Dutton, Becka, and numerous others.
