Brett Little

Brett Donald "Don" Little, 63 years of age, of Norwood, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Little was born December 1, 1952 to the late Warren G. and Margaret Faye Little. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Freddy and Linda Hutchinson Little. Don was known through many places that he worked over his lifetime, such as, Ivey Sales Company, Bowers Implement (Quality Equipment), NC Forest Service previously as Assistant County Ranger and currently County Ranger.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle or at other times at the home of Danielle and Derrick Almond. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 11:00 am at Cottonville Baptist Church in Norwood officiated by Rev. Alex Willoughby. Burial will follow in the Cottonville Baptist Church Cemetery with honors provided by the NC Forest Service.

Survivors include: wife of 33 years, Darlene Simpson Little; daughters, Danielle and husband Derrick Almond, Sara Little; grandson, Lane Almond; brother, Junior Little; sister, Margaret Little and husband Bill Sorenson; nieces, Jennifer and husband David Nichols, Angela Sorenson and fiance Jon Day, Laura and husband Shane Harrington; great-niece, Kaylyn Harrington; great-nephews, Drew Nichols and Zack Nichols

Memorials may be made to Cottonville Baptist Church, 4888 Plank Road, Norwood, NC.
