Brian Eaton

November 28, 1975 — January 18, 2018

Brian Stephen Eaton, 42, of Midland, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018. He unknowingly suffered from arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease.

Brian was born November 28, 1975 in Lake County, FL to the late John Eaton and Nancy Moody of Waycross, GA. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Eaton.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord.  Immediately following the visitation there will be a private celebration of life at Brian and Glynis' home.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Glynis Lenihan Eaton of Midland; daughters, Ava Eaton (12) and Kate Eaton (9); mother, Nancy Moody; sister, Danielle Nissen; brother, John Eaton; niece, Bailey Nissen; nephew, Dexter Eaton; and mother and father-in-law, Cynthia Rich and Lawrence Lenihan.

Brian was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He  graduated as a Criminal Justice major from Appalachian State in 1999, and worked as a Regional Loss Prevention Manager for Pep Boys. Brian was a master carpenter, had a passion for working on antique cars and projects on his tractor. There wasn't anything that Brian could not build or fix. He and his wife bought their dream home four years ago, and through their partnership and teamwork he made her vision for their home come to life. Brian's hands stamped and transformed every part of the family home, turning it into a true homestead and destination full of experiences for family and friends. He spent his time outdoors with his girls riding four wheelers and always finding opportunities to teach them how to do new things and activities. He also enjoyed working with his neighbor, El, and was an avid University of Georgia football fan. Brian was definitely one of a kind, a true man's man, and there was nothing he wouldn't do for his friends and family.

Memorials may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 9771 Southern Pine Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28273.
