Brookshire Burris

Brookshire Louella Burris, 73, of Richfield, passed away Friday, October 18, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Burris was born June 20, 1946 to the late Liston and Bernice Russell Mauldin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Honeycutt and brothers, Darrell "Sugar Daddy" Mauldin.and Jimmy Lee Mauldin.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 3:00 pm, at Faith Freewill Baptist Church in New London, officiated by Wayne Eudy and Mike Hannon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include: husband, Jimmy Burris; son, Donny Burris; daughter, Rebecca Burris Eudy and fiancée Gregory Gallimore; son, Liston Haywood Burris; brother, "Cootie" "Red" Roger Mauldin; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
