Bruce Eury

Bruce Eury, 44, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, April 13, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Eury was born February 8, 1976 in Stanly County to the late Robert Jiles Eury and Fronail Morton Eury. In addition to his father, Bruce was also preceded in death by brother, Donald Cary Eury and sister, Patricia Gaynail Eury.

Bruce was a hard working man who owned and operated Eury's Truck Stop. His real love was his family and friends that he cherished through the years cultivating relationships of strength, loyalty, and an undeniable consistency of positive influences that will live in the memories of all the people he connected with throughout the years. No matter the circumstance, Bruce could always put a smile on anyone's face. He was known for his ability to bring lightness and laughter to any dark situation. He will be deeply missed by all.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM  - 12:45 PM, Friday, April 17, 2020, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Thomas Andrufski.

In addition to his mother, survivors include wife, Melissa Ann Eury of Albemarle; son, Dalton Eury; daughter, Devyn Eury; brother, Wayne Eury; and sister, Susan Eury.
