Bruce Jones

Bruce Jones, 82, of Stanfield, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at CMC Northeast. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland on Friday, November 30, 2012, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Gene Hopkins and Rev. Jody Wetta, will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Midland on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at 5:00 pm. Mr. Jones was born on August 15, 1930, in Union County, to the late Horace Lee Jones and the late Etta Jane Griffin. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Fannie Ruth Mullis. Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, married on May 18, 1985; Sandra Lee Voyles Jones of Stanfield; a daughter, Charlotte Griffin of Pageland; two sons, Ernest Harris and wife Waldi of Lacey’s Spring, William Harris and wife Kay of Toney; three grandsons, Nicholas Griffin, Jed Harris and Zek Harris; a brother, Lee Jones of Midland.
