Bryan Scott Gulledge passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at his residence in Concord. He was 50 years old, born on February 8, 1967.
He was survived by his three children, Amber Nichole Gulledge, 29, of Hampstead, Joshua Scott Gulledge, 8, and Mary Gail Gulledge, 6, of Concord; grandson, Preston Addison Register, 9 of Hampstead; mother, Wanda Hale and stepfather, John T. Hale of Concord; sister, Crystal Dawn Reed and brother-in-law Kent Reed of Kannapolis; two nieces, Karley Elizabeth Reed of Harrisburg and Kayla Brooke Reed of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; aunt, Mary Amelia Tidd and uncle, Tom Tidd of Concord. Preceded in death by father, James Marvin Gulledge, Waco, NC; grandparents Thomas Addison and Mary Marie Greene of Concord and Cecil and Emma Gulledge of Ruby, SC.
Scott graduated from Laney High School in Wilmington in 1985. He was a conductor with Amtrak Railroad for several years. He loved working with his hands, very gifted in remodeling homes and construction. He loved meeting people and had a kind heart, also with a sense of humor.
Family will have visitation on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 1:30pm until 3pm with a memorial service directly following at First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant on Lee St. in Mt. Pleasant.
