Bryce Lowery, Sr
September 16, 1932 — November 8, 2014
Bryce B. Lowery Sr., 82 years of age, of Rockwell, NC passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center - Main in Charlotte.
Mr. Lowery was born September 16, 1932 in Anson County, NC to the late Boyd Lowery and the late Lila (Dutton) Lowery.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Survivors include his son, Bryce "Blake" Lowery, Jr. of Concord, NC; grandsons William and Jacob Lowery of Concord, NC; as well as brothers Albert, Lex and Danny Lowery; and sister Frances Trainer.
Mr. Lowery proudly served in the United States Air Force. He loved his family and had a special love for his grandchildren William and Jacob. He enjoyed going to their soccer and baseball games, and rarely missed a game. Mr. Lowery was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. He liked gardening and enjoyed a round of golf in his earlier years.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. Immediately following visitation, a graveside service will be held at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis, officiated by Rev. Wayne Allen.
