Buddy Hinson, Sr

Buddy Luther Hinson, Sr., 73, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center – NorthEast in Concord. Mr. Hinson was born September 7, 1939 in Stanly County to the late Claude Christopher Hinson and Pauline Vivian Hopkins Hinson. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Leigh; his son, Buddy Luther Hinson, Jr.; and his brothers, William (Billy), Terry, and Levi. There are no services planned at this time. Survivors include his beloved wife and caregiver, Tanya, of the home; his children, Richard and Deidre; his brothers, Sonny Hinson and his wife, Maureen, of Stanfield, and Carl Hinson and his wife, Carmen, of Oakboro; his sisters, Kathleen Love and Nell Whitley and her husband, Arley, all of Stanfield; and one grandchild. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Hinson family.
