"Buster" Seymore

“Buster” Robah Wayne Seymore, 66, of Locust, NC, passed away August 9, 2010, at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast, Concord, NC. Mr. Seymore was born December 20, 1943, in Forsyth County. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Charles Seymore, Jr. and Mary Frances Nelson Seymore Bennett. He was an avid golfer and athlete. His athletic achievements include playing on the PGA Senior Tour in the mid 1990’s. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 10, 2010, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Hartsell Funeral Home, 13575 Broadway Avenue, Midland, NC. The funeral service will be Wednesday, 2:00 p.m., in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Midland, officiated by Rev. Keith Austin. Interment will follow at Berea Church Cemetery, Hwy. 200, Stanfield, NC. Survivors include his wife, Marlene Kennedy Seymore of the home; daughter, Dawn Renee Wilson of Farmington, NC; sisters, Barbara Gail Loggins of Winston Salem, NC, Tillie Burton of Lewisville, NC, and Beverley York of Mocksville, NC; brother, Michael Bennett of Winston Salem, NC; aunt, Jean Barnes of Kernersville, NC; and six grandchildren.
