Cale Owen

Cale Justin Owen, 42, of Oakboro, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at CMC- NorthEast. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Wayne Bennett and Rev. Keith Walters, will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 4:00pm. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at his home. Cale was born on November 16, 1970, to Jimmie and Joan Owen of Oakboro. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Tonya Cody Owen; three daughters, Meredith, Katelyn and Sarah of the home; two brothers, Brant Owen of Albemarle and Peter Owen of Oakboro; paternal grandfather, John Owen of New London. Cale was a 1989 graduate of West Stanly High School, a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and he was employed at Advance Auto Parts of Locust for 14 years.
